The 4th XI was started in the 2020 season and its aim is to provide Sunday afternoon cricket to all available senior players that weren't selected for the 1st XI, 2nd XI or 3rd XI and crucially to be a pathway for junior cricketers to start playing adult cricket. In the 2021 season there were either league games or friendlies nearly every Sunday from late April to mid September. In 2021 there were a number of Sundays when there were nearly enough players to field a 5th XI. The intention for 2022 is to a field a 5th XI by exception on those few Sundays during the season when there are enough players to raise a team. All the games will be friendlies.
